The check-in report provides an impartial reference point for both landlords and tenants, ensuring that the property’s condition is fully documented in line with compliance requirements.

When a tenancy ends, a check-out inspection is completed and compared against the original check-in report. Any changes in condition, damage, or missing items are recorded in detail, with photographic evidence included. The report provides a fair and transparent basis for resolving deposit claims and helps landlords, tenants, and agents handle the end-of-tenancy process efficiently.

Mid-term inspections are available during the tenancy to provide an up-to-date record of how the property is being maintained. These inspections can identify issues early, such as maintenance concerns or breaches of tenancy agreements, allowing action to be taken before they develop into larger problems. A mid-term report provides reassurance for landlords while ensuring tenants are supported in maintaining the property.

An Energy Performance Certificate is required by law when renting or selling a property. Following an on-site property assessment, a certificate is produced with an energy efficiency rating from A–G. The EPC includes recommendations for improvements to reduce energy costs and improve efficiency.
